Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Talinum, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Your account
- You must provide a valid email address.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Use a strong password.
- You may not impersonate other people or claim a username you don't have a legitimate claim to.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Talinum to:
- Harass, threaten, or defame others
- Send spam, malware, or unsolicited bulk messages
- Post content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse-detection systems
- Scrape or crawl the service in a way that degrades performance for other users
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant Talinum a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service.
You can delete your content at any time. Account deletion removes your profile, links, cards, and messages permanently.
5. Hidden messages
Hidden messages sent to your profile are private to you. We don't read them, but we do log metadata (hashed IP, user-agent, timestamp) for abuse investigation.
If you receive threatening or illegal messages, you can delete them from the inbox. We will also cooperate with law-enforcement requests when compelled by valid court order.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, fix bugs, or add features that briefly affect the service. We are not liable for downtime or data loss beyond our commercially reasonable efforts to back up data.
7. Paid features
Some features (e.g. VIP badge) may be offered as paid upgrades in the future. When that happens, this section will be updated with pricing, refund policy, and billing terms.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We'll try to warn you first, but serious violations (illegal content, harassment campaigns) result in immediate termination.
9. Changes
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email. Continuing to use the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
